Halloween is this Thursday, which means scary movies and LOTS of candy!! In fact, they’re estimating that candy sales will be about $2.6 BILLION this year and ninety five percent of households will buy Halloween candy this year!!!

Candystore.com gathered data from the last 12 years to figure out which candy is the most popular by state and here’s what they came up with for New York.

1st- Hot Tamales
2nd- Sour Patch Kids
3rd- Candy Corn

Really??? Hot Tamales are first?!?! Candy Corn is third?? I actually like candy corn and it wouldn’t be anywhere near my top 3! What are you thinking New York?
