There’s a 34-year-old guy named Jason Huff from Portage, Indiana. And he was at a bar on Tuesday night where people were doing karaoke. Well, when one woman started singing, apparently Jason REALLY didn’t agree with her song choice. He tried to get her to stop singing, but he fell down on his way to the stage . . . and then he PULLED A GUN and started waving it around. Fortunately, the cops came and arrested Jason before things escalated beyond that. His blood-alcohol level was .38, which is over four-and-a-half times the legal limit and getting into the danger zone for lethal alcohol poisoning. He was charged with felony intimidation with a deadly weapon. And unfortunately, we don’t know what song made him so upset.
There’s an 18-year-old guy named Jermaine Brown in Boone County, Kentucky. And he recently used a stolen credit card at a Foot Locker. But . . . he used his OWN Foot Locker rewards card to get the points. That allowed the cops to link him to the stolen credit card . . . and a lot more. It turns out the credit card came from a stolen car. Jermaine and two other people, 21-year-old Paul Allen and 19-year-old Matthew Rivera-Fernandez, stole that car and at least FIVE others in February. And they’d broken into several other cars, too. So they were all arrested on Thursday on multiple felony charges for their car theft ring . . . which was all blown up because one of them just HAD to get those crucial Foot Locker points.
A woman in Kansas who just got out of jail broke into the courthouse across the street and was caught eating Girl Scout cookies and listening to Cardi B . Authorities discovered Laura Christine Folau’s nighttime caper when she pulled a fire alarm around 3 a.m. Tuesday and drew the attention of courthouse security staff,. Officers rushed to the building, after the alarm sounded and found the 47-year-old inside rummaging through offices on the second and third floors, officials said. She was also scarfing down the cookies and playing music by the popular female rapper on a courthouse computer,. Law enforcement promptly hauled her back to jail. She had just been freed from the Sedgwick County Jail at about 10 p.m. Monday when she crossed Main Street and broke into the historic courthouse through a window, authorities said.
