Interpol will release album #6 on August 24th, called Marauder. They introduced it with a Live Stream from their press conference in Mexico City. Earlier in the month, they played it on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. That first single is called The Rover and it’s in The Drop all week long at 9pm EST.

Art Alexakis from Everclear says that it’s only right that bands pay their dues in the music business. In order for them to get studio time to record their first album,  Everclear resorted to selling their equipment. With that and a buzzworthy performance at SXSW, they were on their way. Art is releasing his first ever solo album through a campaign at Pledgemusic.
