Billie Joe Armstrong is no stranger to covering 70’s and 80’s tunes on his ‘No Fun Mondays’ weekly stream. This time, the rest of Green Day joined their front man for a rendition of the Blondie track “Dreaming” taken from the group’s 1979 album ‘Eat to the Beat’. The guys even made a nice video for the their version.
Meanwhile, Weezer front man, Rivers Cuomo has been giving fans a heavy dose of his at-home live stream series, ‘Island In the Zoom’. This week, Mrs. Cuomo joined her husband for a version of the Green Day track “Good Riddance (Time of your Life)” from the band’s 1997 ‘Nimrod’ album.
