Lana Del Rey’s Spoken Word Album and Poetry Book Release Dates Announced

‘Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass’ will be a poetry book and accompanying audiobook of poems set to music from Lana Del Rey. The audiobook will be out July 28th and the hardcover and e-book editions will arrive September 29th. CD and vinyl copies are set to ship October 2nd.

Since the release of her last album ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell’, the artist, who spent part of her young life growing up in Lake Placid, New York, has been teasing this project.

The Navajo Water Project is Indigenous-led, and registered as an official enterprise on the Navajo Nation. Their work creates meaningful, high-paying jobs, many with benefits like 100% employer-paid health coverage.

Additionally, she’s stated that another album, ‘Chemtrails over the Country Club’, will be arriving this September and a second poetry book, ‘Behind the Iron Gates – Insights From an Institution’ is in the works.
