Foo Fighters go Metal Thrashing Mad

With their new movie, Studio 666 10 days out, the band that gave us Grunge, Alternative and Disco has now added Thrash to their repertoire.

Earlier today, quietly and under the alias Dream Widow, the group released what appears to be the theme of the upcoming film with a track called “March Of The Insane”.

It’s not the first time Dave Grohl has shared his love for Metal with the world, from 2000-2003 he worked on a side project called Probot that featured some big named front men from all different areas of the genre.

Here’s a rare live performance from Headbanger’s Ball back in 2004 featuring former vocalist for the band Trouble, Eric Wagner (April 24, 1959 – August 22, 2021).
