BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. — Tickets are now available for the first national concerts of Island Takeover, a new summer concert and events series launching this season on Papermill Island in Baldwinsville.
The opening ticketed shows include Almost Monday on June 9, followed by Joe P & The Crowe Boys with special guest Braison Cyrus on June 14. Both concerts are part of Island Takeover Papermill Island concerts, which will run throughout the summer and bring live music to the waterfront.
What Is Island Takeover?
Island Takeover is a season‑long series of concerts and events running from June through September on Papermill Island. Presented by Cumulus Media Syracuse, along with 95X and 93Q, the series is designed to make the island a regular destination for summer entertainment in Central New York.
Rather than a single festival weekend, Island Takeover features events nearly every week. The schedule includes a mix of national touring concerts, themed music nights, and community gatherings.
First National Concerts Announced
Live music is a major focus of Island Takeover’s debut season. The first two national performances are now on sale:
