Win Butler confirmed his part in Bill & Ted Face the Music on a social media post after the platforms lit up with speculation when the film’s first trailer was released on Tuesday.

Bill & Ted Face the Music is the third big screen installment featuring the time traveling rockers played by Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves who are tasked this time with writing a song in order to unite the world.
Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989), Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey (1991), a few spin-offs including an animated television series (with Winter and Reeves reprising their roles), a live-action television series, video games, and comic books are all part of the history behind the franchise.
The highly anticipated movie is set to hit the box office on August 21st.
