BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. — A multi‑artist live music show featuring Joe P and The Crowe Boys, with special guest Braison Cyrus, is set for June 14 on Papermill Island, continuing the launch of Island Takeover, a new summer concert and events series in Central New York.
The June 14 concert follows closely behind the series’ early kickoff and serves as another key event in Island Takeover’s debut season. Running from June through September, Island Takeover brings national touring concerts, themed nights, and outdoor events to Papermill Island throughout the summer. The series is presented by Cumulus Media Syracuse, along with 95X and 93Q.
Joe P, whose alternative‑leaning sound has gained national attention, will share the stage with The Crowe Boys, joined by special guest Braison Cyrus for a triple‑bill night of live music on the island. Doors for the June 14 show open at 6 p.m., with the concert taking place outdoors along the Seneca River.
The event is part of Island Takeover’s broader effort to establish Papermill Island as a regular summer destination for live entertainment in the Syracuse area. In addition to national touring acts, the series includes themed music nights, community events, family‑friendly programming, and special one‑off experiences scheduled nearly every week.
Additional national concerts and events are scheduled throughout the summer as part of Island Takeover, with more announcements expected as the season continues.
More information, including tickets and the full Island Takeover schedule, is available at the Island Takeover event page.
