Why It Matters
Winter in Central New York can be harsh, and for many local families, warm winter clothing can be a significant expense. That's why the 95X Winter Warmer is focused on helping the students of Dr. Weeks Elementary School, where approximately 81% of students are considered economically disadvantaged, according to U.S. News & World Report. Every coat, hat, and pair of gloves donated helps ensure local children have the winter gear they need to stay warm, safe, and comfortable throughout the season. These donations go directly toward supporting kids in our community, helping remove one more barrier so they can focus on being successful in the classroom and beyond. Dr. Weeks Elementary School serves more than 700 students in Syracuse, making the impact of every donation even greater. [usnews.com]
Whether it's a coat, a pair of gloves, or a warm hat, your contribution can make a meaningful difference in a child's winter.
