BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. — The Island Takeover summer concert series continues to grow, with Ripe officially returning to Central New York for a live performance on Papermill Island later this summer.
The concert marks the band’s return to the area following a previous performance that drew an enthusiastic crowd response, with organizers expecting strong anticipation once again.
Ripe Coming Back After Crowd‑Favorite Performance
Ripe is scheduled to perform on Friday, August 14, on Papermill Island in Baldwinsville. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the newly announced show will go on sale Friday, April 24 at 10 a.m. and will be available exclusively through 95X.com.
Known for their upbeat, groove‑driven sound and high‑energy live performances, Ripe has built a reputation for shows that keep audiences moving from start to finish.
Island Takeover Expands Summer Concert Lineup
Ripe’s return adds another national act to the Island Takeover Papermill Island concert series, a new, season‑long lineup running June through September.
The growing concert schedule already includes:
- Almost Monday – June 9
- Joe P & The Crowe Boys, with special guest Braison Cyrus – June 14
- Matt Maeson – July 21
- Ripe – August 14
Additional artists and events are expected to be announced as the summer approaches.
What Is Island Takeover?
Island Takeover is presented by Cumulus Media Syracuse, along with 95X, 93Q, and The Score 1260, and is designed as a full summer destination rather than a one‑time festival.
