Riot Girl Liz Phair is playing Vans House Party this Friday. July 20th in Brooklyn in support of legendary punk pioneers, Blondie. Blondie guitarist, Chris Stein is releasing a book in November called Point of View:Me, New York City and the Punk Scene and photos from the book will be displayed at the event. More here.

Last week, Young The Giant played their new single, Simplicity on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. According to band members, the song is about how we sometimes lose our true selves to the charade we put on for others to see.
