Manchester Orchestra is out on the road with The Front Bottoms right now on a co-headlining tour but the bands took some time to collaborate on new music. The song “Allentown” was released earlier today and it may not be the last time these bands team up and record music together. More here.

The Decemberists released their 8th studio album, I’ll Be Your Girl, earlier in the year. The sound of the latest release is a departure from their standard sound and a jump forward with a very modern feel to it. There’s a B-sides E.P. coming out on December 14th called Traveling On, which features 5 tracks from the recording sessions for I’ll Be Your Girl. Read about it all here.
