According to a posting on Everclear‘s website, vocalist Art Alexakis was diagnosed with RRMS 3 years ago but has kept it private until earlier this week. He wanted fans to know that he hasn’t “fallen off the wagon” and that the band’s absence wasn’t due to any internal struggles but he’s taking the time to adjust his lifestyle due to the diagnosis. It was a track from Cage The Elephant‘s upcoming release Social Cues that sparked the much anticipated co-headlining tour between the band and Beck that will take place this Summer. The band released “Night Running” earlier today from their album that drops on April 19th. The tour has stops at SPAC on August 13th and Darien Lake on August 13th. Listen to the single here.
