Scrolling through my newsfeed I felt like a huge failure as a parent… friend after friend, co-worker after co-worker, nemesis after nemesis… were all in flannel picking apples this weekend.  Even SNL undersood!

And I do love apple picking.  Or at least, I love looking at the pictures I took while apple picking. And the pies.  OK, it’s mostly the pies.  The dirt, the bugs, the mud… every time I go I ask myself why we like this when we could get apples at the store for cheaper/faster/less bugs.  Thank you, SNL, for soooo getting me on this!!!

BTW- we’re already planning on going apple picking this coming Saturday.
