The 95X Locals Only Spotlight will go back to being a weekly instead of a daily feature today and what better way to kick it off than with a SAMMY nominated artist who had a remarkable 2019?  This week we feature EMPIRES IN ORBIT and the single “Cruise Control”,  from their album DOOM CITY LIMITS, which was turned into a full on ballet in Chicago last year!  It was described as ascience fiction inspired contemporary ballet, performed by the Meadows Dance Collective and filmed at the Hamlin Park Theater in Chicago.

“Cruise Control” features guest vocals from Josh Coy formerly of Long Since Forgetten and currently of Sympathy.
