Ben Gibbard of Death Cab For Cutie Plays Nirvana

Ben Gibbard was doing daily live streams at one point but has since cut those back a bit. The Death Cab For Cutie front man did stream a performance live from home today, however.  The proceeds from the live stream went to a GoFundMe set up for Seattle Artist Relief Fund Amid COVID-19.

Within the 50-minute set, Gibbard gave fans a new song and ended with a tribute to fellow Seattle band, the legendary Nirvana. Ben’s song of choice was “All Apologies”.

Nirvana has been a popular band for artists to cover while doing these live streams lately with Post Malone set to drop an entire Nirvana set tomorrow at 6pm ET.
