Pearl Jam Release Uncensored “Jeremy” Video

Mark Pellington, who directed the 1992 clip told Billboard magazine that “Jeremy” still holds up as a piece of art nearly 30 years later. The clip is based on the real-life story of high school student Jeremy Wade Delle, who shot himself in front of his classmates in January 1991.

Pearl Jam released the uncensored “Jeremy” video on Friday to mark National Gun Violence Awareness Day.
