How The Killers Were Influenced by Vampire Weekend

If you’re a fan of The Killers, Brandon Flowers says you should thank Vampire Weekend for the album ‘Imploding the Mirage’.

Flowers says the band was in somewhat of a rut in early writing sessions for their latest record until he heard ‘Father of the Bride’ and realized he had to do better.

He went on to say It reminded him of how he felt when The Strokes‘Is This It’ came out and it inspired the same type of friendly rivalry.
