Expect a full-on coming-of-age theme for YUNGBLUD‘s second album inspired by TV shows such as Skins and HBO’s Euphoria.

In a recent conversation with MTV recently, the young Brit said that those shows are an accurate reflection of the ideas of identity that he will explore on said record.

His direct quote from the interview is this:  “But it legitimately explores the ideas of identity, of sexuality, of equality, of depression, of anxiety, of life, of love, of heartbreak, of everything. Me and my fan base, we’re coming of age together. I want to do it side by side”.

He’s up for MTV Push Best New Artist nomination at the 2020 Video Music Awards this Sunday at 8pm.
