Even though he is gone from this plane of existence and we miss him terribly, due to the magic of recording we can still enjoy the moving voice of Chris Cornell.

Proof that we still really care is his posthumously released cover of the Guns N’ Roses classic “Patience” reaching No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs chart.

 His estate released the recording on what would have been his 56th birthday (July 20th).
