St. Vincent Promises to Bring the Metal

She had every intention of making the album that turned out to be ‘Daddy’s Home’ her Metal opus but things took a different turn in the writing process. However, St. Vincent assured fans that the heaviness is coming.

She grew up on a good dose of Pantera and controversial Black Metal band Mayhem and has released a couple of Tool covers most recently. She even played bass in a Metal band at the age of 13.

Her upcoming RSD21 release is headed in that direction featuring covers of “Sad But True” by Metallica and “Piggy” by Nine Inch Nails.
