The group accepted MTV‘s Global Icon Award at the 2021 Video Music Awards, which took place Sunday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Foo Fighters commemorated their big win with a live medley of hits that included their 1999 smash “Learn to Fly”, “Everlong” and “Shame, Shame, Shame”.

Unfortunately, none of the 3 awards the band was up for took home an award.
