Wet Leg and Turnstile Get Multiple GRAMMY Nominations

On February 5th, 2023, Alternative and Rock Music will be well represented by some of the newer and lesser-known artists in the genres.

Isle of Wight’s Wet Leg are up for 5 nominations and Baltimore’s Turnstile are up for 3 awards at the show, which airs live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California via CBS and other places you can find here along with the full list of nominees in every category.

The criteria for nomination at the 65th annual award show is that the music was released between October 1, 2021 to Sept. 30, 2022.

In addition, there are surprise nominations for IDLES, Big Thief and Spoon. A nomination for winners of a 2018 GRAMMY for Best Rock Album: The War on Drugs. Several of the usual suspects like Machine Gun Kelly, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys and Beck are nominated too.
